How much is too much?
Here you can get a terrific simple overview about the issues of health, food safety and the choices we make for our children on a daily basis. ....choices that will not only provide them with nutritionally dense foods, but also chemically free foods.
It is up to you, Mom, Dad, grandparents, friends, care takers .. You are the ones who not only provide their food daily, but teach them why they are eating the food ... and best of all ... you are providing them an opportunity to learn the flavors of the foods.

What’s On My Food? :: Pesticides On Food
What’s On My Food? :: Pesticides On Food
Here is a great website that provides an excellent reference for every imaginable food one would choose to eat ... The Pesticide Action Network collaborated with Organic Valley Coop to build this resource for the average consumer.
You even have the ability to download a program to your iphone .. While shoppin you can type in the whole food and the program will tell you its historical perspective with regard to pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals ...
This is one way to understand first hand the difference between the produce you choose ..other than price...

Growing Back America with Healthy Children
Today the air is brisk and refreshing in New England. The sun is shining; the breezes are swaying the crowns of nearby trees; the slight snow cover is melting. Where are the children?
Why aren't they outside playing on this gorgeous day? Why aren't they running and exploring the yards, the parks, fields and woodlands? Why aren't they outside climbing rocks and fences, rolling down hills, sliding, feeling the melting snow and the warmth of the sunshine in the cloudless sky?
Do you hear their voices? Can you hear their laughter? Are they somewhere listening to the sounds outside? Will they have a chance today to smell the melting snow and to hear the slush move from passing cars or trucks? Will they be able to see the birds swirling from bush to rooftop, basking in the sun or hovering near a chimney or under the boughs of an evergreen?
This is such a perfect day to refresh their lungs, to soak up some sun, to explore and move to their hearts content... Today is a perfect day for classmates, friends and families to simply walk outside to hear the sounds and recognize the smells of the world around them...
